Bold Predictions for 2022 Clemson Tigers

With the ACC Kickoff having come and gone, we are now in the home stretch.

Fall practice is set to start on August 5, meaning we are literally just about two weeks away from the start of the season. With that in mind, lets get to some predictions for the upcoming season, and some bold ones at that.

DJ Uiagalelei Starts Every Game

Clemson’s embattled quarterback has been put through the ringer over the past year and this season he comes out slinging the ball in week one, quickly silencing all of those doubters. Barring injury, Uiagalelei starts every game. The tremendous amount of work he has put in pays off two-fold.

Clemson Runs Through Regular Season Unbeaten

Not only does Uiagalelei bounce back in a big way, but he also helps lead this team back to the top of the ACC Atlantic and they get there without suffering a loss. This defense is just that good and this year it will get the help from the offense that it did not get a season ago.

Joseph Ngata Finally Has That Season

Reading some of the stuff that has come out over the past few days, it sounds like Ngata is in the best shape of his career. We all know how good he can be, but injuries have always hampered him. No more. Ngata stays healthy this season and leads the team in receptions and touchdown catches.

Best Defense In Country

This one isn’t so bold, but Clemson will absolutely field the best defense in the country this season.
