It was announced earlier that former Clemson wide receiver, Justyn Ross will sign a free agent contract with the Kansas City Chiefs.
It has been a hard couple of days for Ross and his family. It must have been agonizing not hearing even a whisper of your name being called, except for those shocked by the fact this young man wasn’t being picked up by a team, any team.
In writing my article recapping the draft, I found it difficult not to lament about Ross’ plight but at that point it had all been said. So, I was extremely happy to hear of Ross’ contract. I dare say this might be the most absolute quintessential feel good story of the 2022 NFL Draft.
Congratulations to all the former Tigers that can now continue their football dreams. You’ll always be Tigers. Yes, Tiger Nation, It’s been a good day.
