Clemson DB to Forgo Senior Season to Enter NFL Draft

Andrew Booth Jr officially declared for the NFL Draft on Sunday night.

Booth was a first-team All-ACC selection in 2021 and a second-team selection in 2020. The extremely athletic cornerback became partly known for his acrobatic one-handed interceptions.

The junior entered 2021 credited with 36 tackles (2.5 for loss) five pass breakups, two interceptions, a sack and a fumble recovery (which he returned 21 yards for a touchdown) in 400 defensive snaps over 24 games (four starts).

He was a 5-star prospect coming out of high school and ranked as Top-50 talent in every recruiting service, with Rivals ranking him at No. 8 overall.
