Former Clemson running back Wayne Gallman has been released at the Atlanta Falcons. However, he was promptly claimed off waivers by the Vikings.
In six games with Atlanta this season, Gallman had 28 carries for 104 yards.
He was originally drafted by the Giants in 2016, and spent four seasons in New York where he had 338 carries for 1,444 yards across 53 games, 14 of which were starts.
Gallman started 37 games at Clemson during his career, finishing with 3,429 rushing yards, 473 receiving yards, and 36 total touchdowns.
