Clemson AD Dan Radakovich Headed to Miami

It’s official. Dan Radakovich will be the next athletic director at Miami.

Radakovich came to Clemson in 2012, after having served in the same role at Georgia Tech. He earned his MBA at Miami and began his career with the Hurricanes athletic department.

From the Clemson Tigers website:

Named the 13th director of athletics in Clemson history on Dec. 1, 2012, Dan Radakovich has continuously led the Tiger athletic department to high achievements, both on the field and in the classroom, while developing significant upgrades in finance and facilities. Since his arrival, Radakovich has led Clemson athletics to a period of sustained success and growth, considered among the greatest stretches in school history.

It is widely expected that deputy director of athletics Graham Neff will take over for Radakovich.

From the Clemson Tigers website:

“Graham Neff, now in his eighth year at Clemson, has made significant impact on the direction of the athletic department. In his current role as the Deputy Director of Athletics, Neff works closely with Director of Athletics Dan Radakovich on both short-and-long terms planning and execution. He has overseen more than $200 million in capital projects, assisted in the negotiation of several high-value contracts and helped shape Clemson’s athletic department physically, operationally and financially.”
