Jaren Kanak will probably be the only linebacker the Tigers take in the 2022 class.
Brent Venables loves the versatility that Kanak brings to the table and made him a priority early on and he committed to Clemson back in July.
On Friday night, Kanak showed off that versatility that Venables found so appealing, as his Hays High School team picked up a 39-17 win.
Kanak, at quarterback, had 17 carries for more than 150 yards and was 6-9 through the air for another 127 yards. He scored five touchdowns, three of those coming on the ground.
And Venables was on hand to see it.
