Clemson Ranked Third in AP Poll

While the Tigers came in at No. 2 in the preseason coaches poll, they debut a spot lower in the AP Poll.

Clemson comes in at No. 3, with Alabama taking the top spot and Oklahoma at No. 2.

Clemson is #3 in preseason AP poll. It is the 57th consecutive top 5 ranking for the Tigers, second longest streak in history of the poll (1936) behind Alabama's 68 in a row from 2015-19. As far as active top 5 streak is concerned Alabama is second to Clemson with 18.

With North Carolina at No. 10, the ACC has two teams ranked inside the Top-10. Fellow ACC member Miami comes in at No. 14.
