The Tigers hope that a tweet from Travis Shaw means they are closer to adding another star to an already loaded 2022 recruiting class.
Clemson, North Carolina, and Georgia have been entrenched in a battle for Shaw for several months now. The 6’5, 310 pound, 5 star defensive tackle and one of the nation’s top overall recruits out of Grimsley High School has been in Clemson for both the All In Cookout, as well as the Elite Retreat over the last couple of months.
Now a tweet from him earlier today might lead some to believe that fans won’t have to wait much longer to find out who will gain his services. Just like the way he’s conducted himself throughout the recruiting process the tweet was short and to the point. The tweet just said “It’s bout that time, what y’all think?”
