Former Clemson wide receiver Charone Peak has been released by the Saskatchewan Roughriders over the weekend. The CFL franchise was making final roster cuts ahead of the beginning of its season next week.
Peake signed with the Roughriders back in January. Previous to that, Peake had spent time on the Jaguars roster before being released in April of 2020.
The former Clemson Tiger last played professionally in 2018 after being originally drafted by the Jets in the seventh round of the 2016 draft.
