In-state cornerback Jeadyn Lukus has been one of the Tigers priority targets in the 2022 recruiting class.
While it has long been rumored that Lukus would announce on July 28, he has now made it official.
The argument can be made that Lukus is the most important piece of the 2022 class. He is a Top-50 talent from just down the road in Mauldin. Those are the kind of guys you absolutely can’t be losing to an out of state school, especially an ACC foe like North Carolina, who has been Clemson’s biggest competition.
Lukus was just in town for the All In Cookout on Sunday and was also on campus for the Elite Retreat. He is a 5-star in the 247 Composite and ranks No. 32 overall, No. 6 among all corners, and No. 1 in the state of South Carolina.
