2022 offensive lineman Mason Johnstone committed to Clemson on Sunday after attending this weekend’s Elite Retreat.
“Blessed to announce my commitment to Clemson University! Thank you to my family, teammates, coaches, the amazing staff at Clemson and most importantly God for this dream come true! Go Tigers,” Johnstone tweeted.
The 6-foot-7, 255-pound player from Christ Church High School in Greeneville will join the 2022 class as a preferred walk-on. He had recently picked up an offer from BYU and was also getting interest from Nebraska, Penn State, South Carolina, App State, VT, Duke, Colorado State and Wake Forest among others.
