Among the multitude of talent that will be on the Clemson campus in the month of June is Shemar Stewart.
The 2022 5-star defensive linemen from Opa Locka, Florida is set to visit the Tigers on June 17.
The 6-foot-5, 260 pound prospect will also make stops to a number of other schools as he tries to narrow down his choices. He is ranked No. 7 overall in the Composite, No. 2 among defensive linemen and he’s considered the No. 1 player in the talent-rich state of Florida.
He will be in Miami on June 1, then will take an official to LSU the weekend of June 3. He will then head up to Ohio State and Notre Dame the following weekend. Florida, Georgia, UofSC, and Alabama will also get visits.
LSU and Miami are thought to be the frontrunners at the moment. Clemson offered back in July of 2020 and what kind of impression the coaches can make on the elite-level talent will go a long ways towards deciding how realistic of a shot Clemson has of landing Stewart.
