Monte Lee and Tigers Pick Up Transfer Infielder

Former Southern Conference standout Tyler Corbitt is planning to transfer to Clemson.

In three seasons with the Citadel, Corbitt hit .347 with 19 doubles, 4 triples, 8 home runs and 48 RBI. The All-Southern Conference second basemen will have two years of eligibility remaining after graduating earlier this month.

The second basemen played in 23 games for the Bulldogs this season before entering the portal and hit .376 with 5 home runs and 16 RBI.

In the shortened 2020 season he hit .349 with 2 home runs and 10 RBI, starting all 16 games.

As a freshman he started all 54 games, hit .333 with 1 home run and 22 RBI, adding 15 doubles and a triple.
