Trevor Lawrence Responds to Analysts Questioning His Commitment

If Trevor Lawrence was looking for something to use to manufacture motivation, he would have no problem finding the ammunition.

From the analysts claiming he’s not worthy of being the top pick in the draft to those questioning his dedication after the recent SI article

He took to social media on Saturday to defend himself against the criticism over his comments in the SI interview.

Lawrence told Michael Rosenberg of SI.com in that interview that he did not need football to consider his life a success

“It’s not like I need this for my life to be OK,” Lawrence stated. “I want to do it because I want to be the best I can be. I want to maximize my potential. Who wouldn’t want to? You kind of waste it if you don’t.”

This sparked many to begin asking whether or not Lawrence has the motivation needed for the next level and whether Jacksonville should put their future in his hands. He tried to make his comments a little more clear via three Twitter posts and stating how much he loves football and that he wants to win.
