Something is starting to smell in Houston.
Word started circulating late Tuesday night that well known Houston attorney Tony Buzbee had filed a lawsuit accusing Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson of sexual assault.
Watson, a former quarterback at Clemson, wasted no time in putting out a statement to refute the claims, basically calling it a shakedown on Twitter.
Where this thing gets real interesting is the fact that Buzbee has ties to the McNair family.
Make no mistake, sexual assault is nothing to joke about. However, at the very least, the timing is a little conspicuous here. It also sees odd that no specifics are given in regards to the allegation.
It would be wise to let this thing play out before folks want to try and ruin a young mans career.
It’s also worth noting that as of late Tuesday night there was no record of the lawsuit on file yet in the Harris County court records.

As of this very second, there has NOT been a lawsuit filed against DeShaun Watson in Houston, and the most recent lawsuit filed by Buzbee was March 15th.
Will update if I find anything further. https://t.co/Nv5U8UlgQF pic.twitter.com/43xMRx6wTM
