Clemson Facilities Ranked Best in Nation

There are a ton of bigtime football schools with top-notch facilities across the country. Only one can be ranked as having the best.

247 Sports ranked the 25 best football facilities in the nation and the Clemson Tigers sit atop that list. They beat out the likes of Alabama, Oregon, Ohio State, Texas A&M, and even South Carolina who, many will remember, just recently spent $50 million upgrading their facilities.

247sports.com referred to the Tigers $55 million facilities as “basically a player’s theme park”. They also discussed how their updated 23,000 square foot weight room is the ACC’s best and one of the nicest in the country and how other things like the bowling alley, the basketball court, and other amenities in the Allen N. Reeves Football Complex put Clemson above everyone else.

They also pointed out something in the article that some would say is easy to figure out. That these facilities make it much easier for the Tigers to land the top talent they’ve been bringing in. Most would also agree that this is how they have been able to compete at a high level consistently over the last several years.

The Top-10 looked like this:

  1. Clemson
  2. Oregon
  3. Alabama
  4. Texas A&M
  5. South Carolina
  6. Ohio State
  7. LSU
  8. Northwestern
  9. Texas
  10. Oklahoma

It seems more and more that Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney knew exactly what he was doing when he laid out his plan for the football facilities to the administration and they trusted what he was doing enough to allow it to happen. Two national championships and numerous ACC Championships later, give all of the evidence needed to prove it.
