Trevor Lawrence to Undergo Shoulder Surgery

Trevor Lawrence is having surgery on his left shoulder.

The former Clemson quarterback needs the procedure to repair the labrum in his non-throwing shoulder and it will keep him from competing in Clemson’s Pro Day scheduled for next month. He will instead throw for teams next week ahead of the surgery.

Lawrence, who is widely expected to be the top pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, just finished one of the most prestigious careers for a quarterback in Clemson school history. He was 34-2 as a starter over his three year career, with both of his losses coming in the College Football Playoff.

He led the Tigers to three consecutive ACC Championships and a national title in 2018.
