Former Clemson Quarterback Reportedly Getting Tryout With Houston Texans

Former Clemson and Missouri quarterback Kelly Bryant is set to work out for the Houston Texans according to reports.

A product of Wren High School. Bryant transferred midseason in 2018 after losing the starting job to Trevor Lawrence. After moving on to Missouri, Bryant had an injury plagued final season, appearing in just ten games. He threw for more than 2,200 yards and completed 62% of his passes, with 15 touchdowns and six interceptions. He also had 242 rushing yards.

Undrafted free agents have really had a rough go of it in 2020. Due to the pandemic, teams were not able to host any workouts, and now that they are, players like Bryant are trying to take advantage. Who knows, maybe he gets an offer and finds himself once again behind former teammate Deshaun Watson on a depth chart.
