Clemson Linebacker Named One Of ACC’s Best

Former Clemson offensive lineman and current ACC Network analyst Eric MacLain has been recently going through the ACC and ranking the top five players from each position group.

When he got to the linebackers, Clemson’s fifth year senior James Skalski came in at fifth best in the league.

Skalski was an integral part of the Clemson defense in 2019, and is back in 2020 to anchor what is expected to be an even stronger unit on that side of the ball.

He was recently named to the preseason watch list for the Bednarik Award, given to the nations best defensive player annually. After totaling 105 tackles last season, second most on the team, Sklaski enters 2020 with 166 career tackles, 12.5 tackles for loss, and 6 sacks.
