Clemson Wide Receiver Target To Announce On Friday

Four star receiver Troy Stelatto has set a time to announce where he will play his college football.

Stelatto is a four star prospect out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The Composite lists him as the 22nd best receiver and a top 125 player overall. He is a burner. He has a forty time of 4.42 and a shuttle time of 4.47.

Relatively lean with some muscle mass. Should continue adding bulk over time. Looks to have long arms and good-sized hands. Tests as a straight-line athlete with a very good 40-time heading into his junior season. Primarily plays from the slot for his high school, allowing for free releases and favorable matchups. Plays with very good speed, particularly after the catch. Excels on crossing routes and in catch-and-run situations. Also is effective in working up the seam. Has strong and sudden hands, which have also proven to be reliable and consistent in 7-on-7 and camp settings. Will need to continue adding nuance to his game as a route-runner and show the ability to get off the press and play from the outside to add to his versatility. Projects as a starter at the Power Five level with the upside to develop into a NFL Draft pick.

A weapon that can used in a multitude of ways, mostly out of the slot, and a weapon that can be utilized over the middle of the field. At 6’0 and less than 180 pounds, he is a smaller receiver, but Clemson has had a lot of success using smaller receivers.

It seems this one has come down to Clemson and Ohio State. And most seem to think this will be another recruiting victory for the good guys in the upstate.
