Clemson looks like it may be one step closer to getting their man at quarterback as far as the 2021 recruiting class goes. After offering Bubba Chandler late last week, the rising high school senior has now backed off of his previous commitment to play baseball at Georgia, a commitment he made almost a full twelve months back.
Chandler is one of those diamond in the rough type of guys that Dabo Swinney and his coaching staff have become well versed in finding over the years. He had just seven offers before the Clemson offer, and none were from P5 schools.
He is so under the radar that recruiting services have yet to even rate him. However, that is likely to change in the not so distant future, now that a school with the cache of Clemson has extended an offer.
