As Tiger fans continue to look for past Clemson sports to watch while the world seems to be at an almost complete standstill, this series continues to give fans a look into the highlights, star players, and coach that have put Clemson back on the map of College Football.
As most Tiger fans know, Clemson ended the 2016 season by beating Alabama 35-31 for their second national championship. The Tigers were led by future legends Deshaun Watson, Ben Boulware, Mike Williams, and, of course, the Tigers very own Power Rangers (Austin Bryant, Clelin Ferrell, Dexter Lawrence, and Christian Wilkins).
The second volume of the “Dream on” series takes a look at that season and how the Tigers made good on the promise that was made by Dabo about competing for championships. It shows that magical two year run that Dabo Swinney and Clemson had against Alabama in back to back thrilling championship games.
This included not only the title game win but the victory parade through Tigertown that ended with a celebration inside Death Valley. Head coach Dabo Swinney has now cemented himself as one of the most influential figures, not only in Clemson history, but college football history.
From statements by Swinney like “The fun is in the winning,” and ”The best is yet to come,” to the emotional speeches made by Ben Boulware and Deshaun Watson after the 2016 National Championship. This video shows the special moments that Tiger fans love to relive…. over and over.
