CBS Sports released their preseason All American Team on Tuesday and five Tigers were tabbed preseason All Americans. Head coach Dabo Swinney was also named CBS Sports preseason Coach of the Year.
QB Trevor Lawrence was one of two Tigers to earn first team honors. Lawrence was also selected as preseason Player of the Year.
Junior RB Travis Etienne was the other player named to the first team. OL John Simpson was awarded a second team spot, giving Clemson three players total from the offensive side.
On the defensive side, DE Xavier Thomas and LB Isaiah Simmons were both named as second team selections.
