(WATCH) New Clemson Commit Khalil Barnes In Action

Clemson picked up a commitment from 2023 3-star ATH Khalil Barnes on Friday.

The Tigers beat out Notre Dame for the talented prospect out of N. Oconee (Bogart, GA). Clemson recruited him as a safety while the Irish wanted him as a receiver.

Barnes might be one of the more versatile players in the Tigers 2023 class, as he excelled on both sides of the ball during his senior season.

35 rushes, 442 yards, 7 Touchdowns

53 receptions, 879 yards, 8 touchdowns

Defensive Stats

44 tackles, 3 TFL, 7 PBU’s, 8 INT, 1 FF, 2 defensive touchdowns
