Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney (150-36) is entering the season 15 wins shy of Frank Howard’s school record of 165 head coaching victories.

What to Watch For This Season
Clemson attempting to win 10 games for a school record 12th consecutive season. Clemson is presently one of three FBS programs ever to post 11 consecutive 10-win seasons alongside Florida State (14 from 1987-2000) and Alabama (14 from 2008-21). Clemson is already the only school to win 10 games in double-digit consecutive seasons as a member of the ACC, as only the final nine of Florida State’s 14-straight 10-win seasons came during the Seminoles’ tenure in the ACC.
Clemson attempting to win a postseason game (conference championship, bowl game and/or national championship game) for a 12th consecutive season. Clemson’s current 11-year streak is the longest active streak in the country and tied with 1985-95 Florida State for the longest streak on record back to 1980, according to Stats Perform. The last season in which
Clemson did not win a game in the postseason was 2010, in which Clemson went 6-7 including a Meineke Car Care Bowl defeat.
Clemson attempting to become the first program to win 21 ACC titles. Since helping form the conference in 1953, Clemson leads the ACC with 20 titles all-time, including 19 outright.
Clemson attempting to win its 27th overall conference championship, including four SIAA titles and two Southern Conference titles. Clemson’s 26 all-time conference titles are presently tied for 11th-most in the FBS.

Clemson attempting to win its eighth consecutive game against Georgia Tech, dating to a 43-24 home win in 2015. It would extend Clemson’s longest winning streak in the all-time series and double its second longest winning streaks in series history (four-game winning streaks across the 1898-1903 seasons and the 1993-96 campaigns).
