National Signing Day is in the books.
Clemson signed eight players to its 2022 class, a class that already consisted of 12 members, with three of those players announcing commitments on Wednesday. QB Hunter Johnson is also on board via the transfer portal.
It was a strong finish for the Tigers, after seeing four players decommit just before Early Signing Day. And all four of those players were high-end, blue-chip prospects.
With everyone now on board, 21 players in all, counting Johnson, let’s take a look at where the class ranks with the recruiting services.
247Sports: Clemson ranks No. 11 in the Composite Rankings, with five players ranked in the Top-110 nationally. That’s good enough for second-best in the ACC, with North Carolina at No. 10
Rivals: The Tigers come in at No. 10 and tops in the ACC.
ESPN: For the first time in seven years, ESPN has Clemson ranked outside the Top-10 as the Tigers come in at No. 14.
Sports Illustrated: The Tigers come in at No. 8, as well as tops in the ACC, with five players ranked in the SI99.
