The Tigers have offered 2023 CB Jayden Bonsu out of New Jersey.
The 6-foot-2, 200 pound prospect already sports close to a dozen offers, including Penn State, Michigan State and Tennessee.
The Tigers also have started to zero in on a new defensive tackle target in the 2022 class. Ahmad Moten, a 6-foot-3, 290-pounder out of Ft Lauderdale is currently working with the coaching staff on trying to schedule an official visit.
Moten doesn’t have a Clemson offer yet, but does have offers from Florida, Georgia Tech, Iowa State and Illinois. He isn’t signing until February, so there is still plenty of time. With it looking like Tyler Davis will be back for his senior season, defensive tackle isn’t quite the area of need many assumed it would be.
Clemson also finally pulled the trigger on an offer to in-state wide receiver Antonio Williams over the weekend. The Dutch Fork prospect was on hand for the Tigers dominating win over Wake Forest. Williams is supposed to be on hand in Auburn this weekend for the Iron Bowl.
The Tigers also offered fast rising 2023 QB Chris Vizzina. The 6-foot-3, 200 pound prospect from Birmingham already has close to two dozen offers and was also on hand for the Wake Forest game. Good to see the staff not putting all their eggs into the Arch Manning basket.
