Trevor Lawrence Officially Named Jaguars Starting Quarterback by Urban Meyer

Urban Meyer has finally named number one overall pick Trevor Lawrence the Jaguars starting quarterback for week one of the regular season.

#Jaguars coach Urban Meyer announced No. 1 pick Trevor Lawrence will be their Week 1 starting QB. Always expected, and now official.

Meyer made the announcement during a presser on Wednesday morning.

So far, through two preseason games, the Jags first team offense has been fairly stagnant. Not that it has been Lawrence’s fault. Offensive line play has been abysmal, with the play calling not being much better.
