Deandre McDaniel was never one to shy away from anything on the football field and now that he is a member of Dabo Swinney’s staff at Clemson as a defensive analyst it appears that he’s still that same person.

McDaniel tweeted out his thoughts on the major rules changes concerning NIL that went into affect on Thursday reminding players to keep their eyes on the prize.

“Keep the Main thing the Main Thing!” McDaniel Tweeted. “Don’t let this opportunity distract you from your NFL goals. Everyone wont make the NFL, so this definitely will benefit some more than others! Still, you must work.”

McDaniel also brought up something not many other are talking about. Teaching college players financial responsibility.

“Financial Literacy!” McDaniel Tweeted. “What sense does it make to make 100k+ in college then splurge it all away by 21-22. Be smart fellas.”

McDaniel’s final tweet on the subject reminded players on the Clemson roster that every resource they might need is available to them through PAW Journey.

“OAN: Clemson has Paw Journey! Where Financial Literacy learning is available!!”
