Come the first of July the college football world will usher in a new era.

For the first time ever, college athletes will be able to profit off of their own name, image and likeness and with that in mind, players all across the country are getting prepared.

One of those players is Clemson wide receiver Justyn Ross. After missing all of last season after having surgery to repair a congenital condition in his spine, Ross is expected back in 2021 and the rising senior has already put the word out that he is open for business.

The fact that Ross has not played in more than a year has his draft status in question. Before the surgery, most had Ross pegged as a surefire first round NFL Draft pick, and with a strong bounce-back season there is no question he can work his way back up the draft boards.

However, as it stands today, no one knows what the future might hold and it would be wise for Ross to take advantage of every earning opportunity that might come along. Ross knows as well as anyone how quickly things can change and that nobody’s future is guaranteed.

Despite not playing last year, Ross is still one of the more well-known names on the entire Clemson roster. The former 5-star recruit from Alabama will likely have limitless opportunities.
