When it comes to which Clemson Football players can have breakout seasons in 2021, the list is virtually endless.

Pro Football Focus has released their list of college football players they feel can have breakout seasons in 2021 and five of the 25 spots are held by Tigers, one of which sits in their top spot.

The Clemson program has some big spots to fill offensively going into the season but if PFF is right then the quarterback spot is going to be one that’s in great hands. They have sophomore D.J. Uiagalelei sitting at No. 1.

Clemson’s next highest ranked players on the list are sophomore defensive studs who made an impact as true freshmen. Defensive tackle Bryan Breese comes in at No. 11 and defensive end Myles Murphy follows him at No. 12. Both of these young men came into last season hyped up bigtime and neither disappointed.

The fourth player on the list is Andrew Booth Jr., who comes in at No. 14. When he was healthy he was a lockdown corner after struggling in the opener, allowing just 93 yards on 174 coverage snaps the Tigers last 10 games.

The fifth and final player on the list also rounds out the list in the No. 25 spot. It’s Joseph Ngata who was also one of their major breakout candidates for 2020 until injuries stopped any chance of that.
