Clemson could sign as many as three cornerbacks in the 2022 class.
At the top of the board are 4-stars Jeadyn Lukus and Toriano Pride, both of which are expected to attend the Elite Retreat June 12-13.
Before that event, though, 4-star Daylen Everette and 3-star Caleb Coley will camp with the Tigers on June 8.
As it stands Lukus, Pride and Everette are the three guys at the top of the board and Clemson appears to be in very good shape with all three as we head into the summer.
Lukus is an in-state guy who Clemson has made a priority from the get-go. The Tigers are still leading but Mack Brown and North Carolina are also recruiting him hard. Lukus will be in Chapel Hill this weekend. A decision likely comes before the end of the summer.
Pride is set to visit Missouri, then take official visits to Ohio State, Oregon and Auburn. The Tigers are the leaders here as well, but anytime Ryan Day and the Buckeyes are in it for a highly-touted defensive back, it’s worth keeping an eye on.
Outside of visiting Clemson, Everette will also take officials to Georgia and North Carolina. Mack Brown and the Heels are also pushing hard for his services and while Clemson is leading, it isn’t one of those insurmountable leads.
Coley will take official visits to Wisconsin, Michigan State, Northwestern and Vanderbilt over the next month. If the Tigers miss on any of the top three guys, Coley is very likely the next guy on the board.
