Freshman Caden Grice has really started to find his groove over the last week.
In his last four games, Grice is 6-13 with 4 homeruns and 6 RBI and on Monday, Collegiate Baseball recognized the freshman’s efforts by naming him one of their National Players of the Week.
After going hitless, including striking out four times, in back-to-back losses to in-state rival South Carolina last weekend, Grice has really started to see the ball well over the past four games.
“Probably just trying to do too much,” Grice said after hitting two long balls in a win over ETSU on Tuesday. “So after this weekend, listening to my coaches this weekend, just kind of making adjustments and found my swing.”
