Brett Favre Thinks Deshaun Watson Shouldn’t Voice His Opinion

Does NFL Hall of Famer Brett Favre have an issue with players out of Clemson? Some could take it that Farve has some underlying issues with players out of Clemson after two interviews over the last week.

Favre gave his thoughts on Deshaun Watson’s situation in Houston after he suggested in an interview with TMZ on Saturday that Jacksonville should pass on Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence with the number one pick in the draft.

The latest comments came in an interview Favre had with Yahoo Sports this week when he was asked about his thoughts on Deshaun Watson’s trade request from the Texans.

“You get paid a ton of money to do a certain job, and just do it, and let the chips fall where they may,” Favre said, “I think we make too much money to voice an opinion, but I’m not saying he’s wrong.”

“Again I think it’s a different day and time, and it’ll be interesting to see how the organization handles it.”

When Watson’s agent David Mulugheta saw Favre’s comments he decided to take to Twitter himself taking up for his star quarterback.

“Brett should probably stop throwing stones from that glass house he’s sitting in.”

It’s been made very clear that Watson wants to be traded out of Houston and comes after the Texans just gave him a huge contract last year.
