On a night that Aamir Simms found it tough to get going, the Tigers hung tough, particularly in the second half, and gutted out a 71-68 win.  Hunter Tyson had a career high 21 points, shooting 9-13 from the floor, as the sophomore forward seems to be getting more confident by the night.

Brad Brownell’s team is still struggling from the free throw line however, as evidenced by their 7-18 performance tonight. They have made just 16 of their last 41 foul shots (39%), an area that must improve.

Clemson improves to 10-8 overall and get back to .500 in ACC play at 4-4.
