Clemson picked up a 2020 commitment from 5 star LB Trenton Simpson this afternoon. Simpson is out of Mallard Creek High School in Charlotte.
Simpson is ranked as the 13th best player in the 247 Composite and has patiently been waiting on a Clemson offer. While visiting this weekend that offer finally came and he wasted no time committing.
He is the 22nd commitment of the 2020 class and third LB commitment.
