Clemson Assistant Named Broyles Award Semifinalist

Clemson co-offensive coordinator Jeff Scott was named a semifinalist for the coveted Broyles Award today. Scott is one of fifteen assistant coaches named a semifinalist and has now made the list two straight years. Along with Tony Elliott, Scott has helped guide the Tigers to having the third best offense in total yardage and the fourth best scoring offense nationally.

The Broyles Award is given annually to the nation’s best assistant coach. Winners from the past five seasons are not eligible. Last season, Alabama Off Cord Mike Locksley won the award. The other semifinalists are,

Eventually the list will be narrowed down to five finalists, with the winner being announced December 10 in Little Rock, Arkansas.
