Yesterday, Justin Flowe released his list of top four schools and there was one school whose absence was conspicuous. USC, long thought to be the leader for the five star linebackers services, didn’t make the cut.

As you can see, Oregon, Georgia, Miami, and Clemson did make the cut.

Flowe is rated as the top inside linebacker prospect and the third best prospect overall in the 247 Composite Rankings.

So, what does this for the Tigers? With USC seemingly out of the picture, this looks to be a one horse race. The Clemson coaching staff looks poised to pull of another recruiting coup and Brent Venables has led the charge.

Unless something crazy happens, things look exceptionally good for Clemson. We could even see an earlier commitment than originally thought.
