Logan Davidson was named ACC Baseball’s Scholar Athlete of the Year on Tuesday. The conference has handed out the award since 2007 to the top junior or senior student athlete in their respective sports.

Davidson, who graduated in just six semesters with a management degree, had a cumulative GPA of 3.99. He’s the second Tiger to win the award, joining Pat Krall who won it in 2016.

Davidson hit .291 with 15 long balls and 55 RBI in 2019, his final season as a Clemson Tiger. He had a .412 OBP and reached base in 59 of the teams 61 games. He was the first Tiger to record double digit HRs and double digits in stolen bases in three different seasons. The two time All ACC selection was drafted by the Oakland A’s in the first round of the MLB Draft a few weeks back.
