Brad Brownell officially welcomed graduate transfer Tevin Mack to the Clemson family on Friday.
Mack comes to Clemson after spending a season in Tuscaloosa playing for the Tide. The native of Columbia SC averaged 9 points and 3.3 boards in 34 games, 24 of which were starts. He averaged over 20 minutes per game and shot 41.7% from the field.
Before playing for the Tide, Mack spent two seasons (2015-17) playing for Texas. He appeared in 48 games, with 10 starts. In the 2016-17 season he shot a team high 39.1% from beyond the arc.
Brownell told the media on Friday, “We’re really excited about the addition of Tevin to our Clemson basketball family. He’s a talented offensive player who can score in a variety of ways. His experience and versatility will be a tremendous asset to our team. It’s special for us and for Tevin and his family, as a home state talent, to play his graduate year at Clemson.”
