Breeland Says He Was Falsely Arrested

The Allendale native played at Clemson from 2011-13. Breeland left for the NFL after his junior season. He finished his college career with 136 tackles and six interceptions.

As reported yesterday, former Clemson defensive back, Bashaud Breeland, was arrested up near Charlotte, NC  Tuesday. According to the York County Detention Center website Breeland was charged with resisting arrest, transport of alcohol in motor vehicle with the seal broken, open container of beer or wine in motor vehicle, possession of 28 grams or less of marijuana or 10 grams of hash, and driving without a license.

Breeland has since taken to Twitter to say he was wrongly charged.
